Charles “Charlie” Sader December 29, 1936 – March 14, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Charles ‘Charlie’ Sader, of Hutchinson, died March 14, 2019, surrounded by his family at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born December 29, 1936, in Leoti, to Daniel and Molly Sader. Charlie graduated from Leoti High School.

He retired as an electronic technician with the Federal Aviation Administration. Charlie was a member of the Central Kansas Gun Club and an avid KU basketball fan. He was of the Catholic faith.

On June 4, 1956, he married the love of his life, Mary J. Crowl in Scott City. She died January 13, 2010, after sharing 53 years of marriage. Charlie is survived by: children, Greg (Sherri) of Charleston, SC, David of Knoxville, TN, Deborah Pittman (Byron) of Holcomb, Pam Jantz of Hutchinson; sister, Gloria Long of Leoti; grandchildren, Joshua Sader, Kimberly Sader, Matthew Naab, Mark Sader, Anthony Sader, Jessica Busby, Bryan Vanderweide, Timothy Vanderweide, Steven Jantz, Zachary Jantz; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison, Cody, Alexis, Dominic, Kristin, Chole, Madison, Alexander, Eliana, Adalene, and Olivia.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family graveside service will be held in Scott County Cemetery, Scott City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
