Mildred Lee Wegner, 81, of Taneytown, Maryland went home to the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Lorien Taneytown. Born on April 14, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James and Mable (Shipley) Hicks. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Wegner.

Mildred attended Clearfield Bible Church in Westminster and was a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed word searches, reading, and watching The Young and the Restless. She loved time with her family and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Surviving are children, Nancy Wegner of S.C., Linda S. Miller and husband Philip of Westminster, Robert C. Wegner, Jr. and wife Jackie of Reisterstown, Catherine “Cathy” H. Kratovil and husband Michael of Baltimore, Marie A. Griffith and husband Forrest of Westminster, Judith “Judy” A. Hudson of Baltimore, and Angela “Angie” L. King and husband Jeffrey of Fredericksburg, VA; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Richard Martin of Westminster and sister Lou Martin of Richmond VA. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster with Pastor Ray Newman officiating. Burial will follow at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 14th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Clearfield Bible Church, 1303 Old Westminster Pike, Westminster, MD 21157 or to Lorien Taneytown, 100 Antrim Blvd. , Taneytown, MD 21787.
