Mildred “Millie”‘s Obituary Mildred C. (Millie) Patterson, age 78 passed away on May 8, 2019 at her home in Arcadia, FL. She was born on September 16, 1940 in Hollywood, FL to the late Lew Wallace and Viola R. Beeles Compton. Millie and her family moved from Hollywood, FL to Fort Myers as a young girl.

Millie spent the remainder of her life with her children in Nocatee, FL. Millie was of the Protestant faith. Millie was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many and will be greatly missed.

She enjoyed drawing and created many beautiful abstract pictures. Many of her ideas came from her surroundings, family and her love for reading Stephen King novels. She is survived by her six children; sons Fred Cangiano of Nocatee,FL, Clyde (Dean) Herron and Bam Bam (Tammy) Herron all of Jacksonville, FL; Jason (Amber) Cobb of Fort Myers, FL; daughters Tamara Cangiano and Linda L. (Jeff) Cangiano Kenyon all of Nocatee,FL; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
