Mildred “Millie”‘s Obituary Mildred “Millie” Palmer age 78, of Wolsey, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Huron Regional Medical Center. Her Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial at the Wolsey Cemetery in Wolsey. Visitation with her family present will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 20, at the Welter Funeral Home; or one hour prior to the service at the Funeral home on Thursday.

Millie Goins was born on March 1, 1941 to parents William and Louise (Gaffney) Goins in Garrad County, Kentucky. Millie married Kenneth Palmer on October 15, 1959 in Clarksville, Indiana. Millie worked as a Banquet Coordinator for 25 years at the Crossroads Hotel and Convention Center.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Debbie Palmer Montoya, son Kevin Palmer, and the Palmer triplets; sisters Edna Potts, Elaine Hardin, Ruby Harrison, Diane McCain and Christine Bryant; brothers Walter Goins and Edmond Goins; and her in-laws Martin and Luverne Palmer. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Kenneth Palmer of Wolsey; daughter Michelle (Kelly) Christopherson of Huron; son Todd Palmer of Wolsey; 4 grandchildren Samantha Christopherson, Kyle Christopherson, David (Crystal) Palmer, and Pamela Smith; 3 great-grandchildren Lyndsey Zeledon, A.J. Zeledon, and Desiree Brady; sisters Helen (Buster) Broddus and Vivian Goins all of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews.
