Mildred Russian, 96, of Hopewell Twp. , passed away Friday June 15, 2018. Born April 7, 1922 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Mile and Smilja (Pavlovich) Polovina, she was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, Aliquippa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Russian in 2000; two sons, Charles Russian, and James Russian; a daughter, JoAnne Behrle; a sister, Sema Brent; two brothers, Eli Polovina, and Mike Polovina; and a granddaughter,… Read More » Sharon Newton. Surviving are her grandchildren, James (Lynne) Behrle, Joseph Berhle, and Sean Newton; five great grandchildren; a special niece, Elaine (Wayne )Kastler, with whom she resided; a niece, Donna (Ted) Savage; a nephew, Eli (Bonnie) Polovina, and many loving great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, Pa.
