Mrs. Mildred Vivian Brown Barlow, age 83, of Rome passed away March 19, 2019 in a local health care. Mrs. Barlow was born May 29, 1935, in Summerville, Ga. a daughter of the late Joe Brown, and Flossie Holloway Brown.

She was member of Silver Hills Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Barlow was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Russell Barlow, a daughter, Billie Jo Barlow Jennings, and a brother, Emmett Brown. Survivors include, two sons, Michael Barlow, Rome; Steve (Missi) Barlow, Rome; brothers, David (Janice) Brown, Summerville; Frank Brown, Summerville; Virgil (Annie) Brown, Arumchee; sisters, Margaret (Leon) Craig, Summerville; Deanie (Vernon) Ponders, Alabama; grandchildren, Donnie Jennings, Jason Jennings, Cory Barlow, Brooke Barlow, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday March 22, 2019 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Barry Brown, officiating. Interment will follow in Silver Hills Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga. 30165.
