Milton Carl Gibbons Sr. was born in San Antonio, Texas, April 11, 1940 and passed away in San Antonio, April 7, 2018. He attended Douglas Elementary and later became a Healy Murphy High school Graduate. He would later begin his career in the United States Army where he would retire.

Milton is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Velma Gibbons; brothers, Wallace Gibbons, Mr. Sammy Gibbons, Arnold Gibbons Jr., and Leroy Gibbons; son, Milton Carl Gibbons Jr He is survived by his wife, Cora Jeannine Gibbons; children, Gladys Pickett, Rosiland Porter, Tashe Greene, Christopher Mike, Cornell Mike, and Clayborne Coleman; siblings, Joe Louis Gibbons, Mrythell Jones, and Evelyn Henry. Milton also has 11 grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
