Ms. Miron Lea Porter was born on December 31, 1930 in Vernon Parrish, Louisiana to the late John Calvin and Oma Jones Davis. She passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in North Richland Hills, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jesse Andrew Porter, Jr. and son, Jesse Andrew Porter, III.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy D. Buckingham of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Nicole Buckingham and Kami Ramos; great grandchildren, Tabias Luis Ramos and Reed Asher Ramos. She is also survived by her loving companion of over 40 years, Lt. Col.

James Touchet, US Army Retired of Fort Worth and his family Beatrice Uhl and husband, Tony, Ronnie and Bailey Uhl, Evan and Rachel Uhl, and Andrew and Elizabeth Lawson, Lucas Aaron Lawson and Emilia Katherine Uhl. The family will receive friends and visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Chapel with interment following at Mt.

Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth with Celebrant Mark Lucas Kelly officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Alexander, Dennis Buckingham, Tony Uhl, Ronnie Uhl, and Evan Uhl. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ms. Miron Lea Porter please visit our Sympathy Store.
