Obituary for Mitchell Lee Adkins Mitchell Lee Adkins, 66, of South Point, Ohio passed away Monday April 9th, 2018 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend George Adkins Jr. and Evelyn Marie Graham Adkins; his wife, Virgie Cox Adkins; three sisters, Diane Miller, Linda Ross and Judy Gail Adkins; Mitchell loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by four sons, Mitchell “Bubby” Adkins of South Point, OH, Robert Hutchins of Toledo, OH, Raymond Cox of Ironton, OH and Scotty Cox of South Point, OH; three daughters, Lori Adkins of Toledo, OH, Jennifer Cox of Columbus, OH, Pam Brandon of Kenova, WV; three sisters, Kathy Keeney of South Point, OH, Brenda Perkey of Coal Grove, OH and Selena Gee of North Carolina; Two brothers, Johnny Adkins of South Point, OH and Mark Adkins of Kitts Hill, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Mark Adkins at 2pm on Friday April 13, 2018 at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will be held 6pm to 8pm on Thursday April 12, 2018. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point, OH.
