Monte Beth DeVillez, 95, of Paducah passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. DeVillez was retired from Union Carbide and the owner of Groundfloor Shoes. She enjoyed knitting in her free time.

Surviving are her two children, Carol (Bill) Lindsey of Sharpe and Scott (Lisa) DeVillez of Paducah; one brother, Charles Martin (Marie) Riggs of Paducah; two grandchildren, George (Molly) Johnson Jr., Maribeth Holloway of Paducah; and four great-grandchildren, Alexis Dickerson, Elijah Dickerson, Elle Johnson, and Cassie Creason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry DeVillez; her parents, James Martin Riggs and Mary Elizabeth Riggs; and one sister, Marianne McDowell. Memorial services will be at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev.

Tim Turner officiating. Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to service hour on Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.
