Obituary for Morris D. Fitzgerald, Sr. Morris Fitzgerald was born to John H. Fitzgerald and Janice M. Fitzgerald in Crewe, Virginia on August 8, 1941. He attended Drew High School and worked for Winter Garden Citrus for thirty-seven years. He was a father figure to many, loving father, grandfather and friend.

Affectionately known as Dad, Pops, Papa and Mr. Shorty. Morris Fitzgerald was well known in the community and loved everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, John H. Fitzgerald and Janice M. Fitzgerald; one aunt, Mary Lewis; four uncles, Rufus Lewis, Randolph Lewis, Walter Curtis Lewis and Alvin Lewis; two sisters, Marian Boose and Geraldine Alexander.

He leaves to cherish precious memories to: wife, Marie T. Fitzgerald; two sons, Alvin Campbell (Sharon), Morris D. Fitzgerald, Jr., (Christian); five daughters, Lena C. Fitzgerald, Jacqueline L. Fitzgerald, Stephanie F. Williams (Aurelius), Tanya Houston and Sereda T. Fitzgerald; one sister, Flornia L. Williams; three brothers, Calvin M. Fitzgerald of Indiana, Walter C. Fitzgerald and Charles Fitzgerald, both of New York; one aunt, Berthel Scott (Herman); three uncles, Vernell Lewis, Everett Lewis and Thomas Lewis; twenty three grandchildren a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
