Funeral services for Mr. Murray Colon Garnto, age 72, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Stephen Robinson and Mr. Thurmon Foskey will officiate.

Mr. Garnto was born November 5, 1945 in Wrightsville, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late, Joseph Norman Garnto and Loretta Belote Garnto and a brother, Joseph Norman Garnto, Jr He was a veteran of the United States… Read More » Army and was a member of the Wrightsville Church of the Nazarene. He was retired as a machinist from Imerys.

Mr. Garnto passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Brown Garnto of Wrightsville, two sons, Murray C. Garnto, Jr. of Wrightsville and Dr. Travis L. Garnto of Vidalia and three grand-daughters, Addison Garnto, Kylie Garnto and Laney Garnto. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, October 28, 2018 at the funeral home.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
