Obituary for Myrna Schlafer Levy Myrna Schlafer Levy, 83, of Pearland, Texas, died on May 28, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack I. Levy. Cherished mother of Steve Levy, Richard Levy and Marjorie Levy (Sands).

Loving grandmother of Ally Levy, Joel Sands and Jennifer Sands. Dear sister and best friend of the late Tenny Greenberg. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Myrna Levy graduated from South Broward High School and the University of Miami. She taught elementary school in Hollywood, Florida. Eventually, the family moved out of state.

Myrna Levy was a devoted wife and mother. When faced with difficult choices that would ultimately determine her life’s journey, she put her husband and family first. Despite many years away, Myrna considered Hollywood, Florida her true home and her friends there her true friends.
