Isaiah 66:13 As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you. Life and Legacy Celebration Lisa “Lei” Maurene Rhodes transition from her earthly home on April 30, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on July 10, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas.

She attended school at Grambling State University and Louisiana State University. Lei had a strong passion for play writing and literature. Her hobbies includes, traveling , indulging in her musical talents with in a faith based setting, also had a sweet tooth and loved sugary and candy coated sweets.

Lei had a true commitment in servant hood as a faithful member of Intentional Life Church, under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Cedric D. Beard. She served diligently as a member of the choir, a consistent kitchen attendee, and if you knew Lei she was a dedicated cheerleader on the front row during Sunday morning services, she gave the Lord high praises. She is preceded in death by her grandson Jakori Cole.

Lei leaves to cherish her memories by her parents Hayward and Rosie Young , wife Quinnitta “ Quinn” Thomas- Rhodes, her five children: Tekara Young- Cole(Jermaine), Brittany Young (Terrel) ,Cordelius Young , Jessica Young – Lain (Justin) and Trevin Young Sr. (Sanwanequa). Also she leaves her thirteen grand children: Jamarrion, Serenity, Breuna, Jayleen, Trent, John ‘Tayvious, Addison, Kaitlyn, Trevin Jr., Jermany, Kingston and Trinity. Three sisters: Sharon Brasfield, Tracy Garcia, Bridget Quales (Randle) Four brothers: Michael Young, Everet Williams (Joya), Myron Young and Daymon Young.

A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
