Obituary for Eddie Lynn Lauderdale Lauderdale, Eddie Lynn “Ed”, born on December 6, 1948 in Dallas, TX, passed away June 19, 2018 after a courageous battle with stomach cancer. Born to the late Edgar J. and Barbara A. Lauderdale, and raised in Dallas, he graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1967. Survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah, and his son Scott Edward Lauderdale, brother-in-law Richard C. Donehoo and wife Marga, and his niece Merrie Beth Wilson and her husband, Lee and cousins Joan Mooneyham and her husband Larry, Judy Hawkins, and Mickey Yowell plus numerous family and friends.

Ed did not know a stranger. He maintained friendships going back to his high school days. He loved Mexican food, BBQ, the Dallas Cowboys and music with a passion that continued until his final days.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to everyone who has helped us through this difficult time. At his request there will be no formal funeral service, but rather, a wake with all his friends and family with lots of music.
