Myrtle G. Stinnett, 92, resident of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born on May 20, 1926 in Cannon County, she was the daughter of the late Richard & Novella Stacy. Myrtle had a passion for gardening, and a love for flowers.

She was a retired seamstress for Jamison Bedding. Survivors include her son, Stanley Stinnett of Lewisburg; daughter, Wanda Harvey of Cookeville; 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Stinnett, Jr.; sons, Sevastian Stinnett, Angelo Stinnett; brothers, RN “Bully” Stacy, John Stacy, Jimmy Stacy; sisters, Odell Hatchet and Rovella Stacy.

The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
