Myrtle Stewart Ihrig, 93, of Whitesburg passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence. Myrtle was the daughter of the late George and Delphia Meade Stewart. She was the widow of Charles Ihrig.

Surviving is 1 son: William (Margie) Ihrig of Kingscreek; 1 stepson: Glenn Ihrig of Washington D.C.; 2 stepdaughters: Jackie Ihrig of Riviera Beach, Florida and Donna K. Morris of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; 1 sister: Lavenna Reach of Lexington; 2 grandchildren: Michelle (Andrew) Wright and Toni Nelson; 3 great grandchildren: Alex Nelson, Jonah Wright, and Elizabeth Wright; 2 great great grandchildren: Connor Hooper and Jordyn Hooper. Myrtle was preceded in death by 1 brother: Paul Stewart; 2 sisters: Mavis Baker and Lila Peach. Funeral: 1:00 O’clock P.M. Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Hemphill Church of Christ with Hargis Hall officiating.

Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Seco, Kentucky.
