Myrtle Irene Lederer was born January 9, 1936 to William and Margaret (nee Adkins) Thomas and passed away September 10, 2018 at the age of 82. Myrtle enjoyed yard sales, flowers and interior decorating. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Clinton Lederer; children, Star (Earl) Waits, Dale Lewis, Jeff (Kathy) Smith and Gretchen Barney; grandchildren, Tammy (Alan) Stimson, Rob (Kristi) Waits, Toni Strapp, Michol A. Barney, Tomma (Jon) Blackburn, Jeffrey Tyler Smith and Savannah Smith; great grandchildren, William Stimson, Christopher Stimson, Torie Strapp, Kylie Blackburn and Wes Blackburn; a brother Donald (Jeanne) Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Thomas, William Thomas and baby Thomas; sisters Jeraldine Taylor, Maxine Thomas and Katherine Thomas; and a son-in-law, Michol R. Barney. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday September 13, 2018 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Interment Blanchester I.O.O.F.

Cemetery. Family suggests memorials be directed to the Alzheimers Association or the American Cancer Society.
