Nadeene flew into God’s arms early Thursday morning (January 24, 2019) just 4 days shy of her 92nd birthday. Born in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Essie Smith. Nadeene was a retired Bookkeeper from Taylors Lumber Company and a member of Lee Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Steve Chasteen and his wife Danette; a granddaughter, Stephanie Chasteen; a grandson, Paul Chasteen and his wife Cindy and two great grandchildren, Brenden & Phoebe Chasteen. In addition to her parents, Nadeene was predeceased by her husband, William F. Chasteen and her sister, Audrey Adams. Graveside Services will be held at 12 noon Saturday afternoon at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
