Nadine R. Marienau, 86, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at DePaul Hospital, Bridgeton, Missouri. Nadine was born in Gerald, Missouri on November 5, 1931, a daughter of the late George Edward & Clara Emily (Niewald) Toelke. She was the widow of Calvin E. Marienau.

They were united in marriage on August 12, 1950, at St. Paul Presbyterian Church in St. Louis. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in the year 2000 and were married for 58 years. Calvin preceded her in death on June 22, 2009.

Nadine is survived by their three children, daughters, Janice & Janine Marienau, and a son,Calvin Marienau, Jr., all of St. Louis, by her nieces & nephews, Keith & Lisa Hartenberger, Karen & Mike Leabig, Greg & Denise Hartenberger, Kathy Toelke, George & Rachel Toelke, Jr., Carolyn & Doug Roderick, and Steve Toelke, and by her great nieces and great nephews, Conner & Emma Hartenberger, Jacob Leabig, Reagan Hartenberger, Garrett & Katie Toelke, Emily & Jack Roderick and Hannah & Grace Toelke, and by many cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother George Toelke, Jr. and a sister Darlene Hartenberger. Nadine enjoyed cooking and making crafts to give as gifts to her family.

She cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed many vacations together with them. She and family attended Peace Lutheran Church until becoming members of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in 1978. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Stone Church, Gerald, Missouri, with Rev. James Hogue officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Ebenezer Stone Church Memorial Fund. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
