Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Dorman Chappell, 64 of Tifton, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Regency Medical Center in Macon. The family will hold a visitation and memorial remembrance service at the home of Mark and Gail Barnard at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 12, 2018. .

Mrs. Chappell was born November 24, 1953 to the late Joe and Helen Sumner Dorman in Tift County. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Wayne Chappell, one brother and one sister. Mrs. Chappell was a homemaker and a member of Omega Baptist Church.

She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved cooking,fishing and playing games like yahtzee and bingo. She is survived by her son Mark Barnard and his wife Gail, two daughters, Monica Branch and Brandy Chappell all of Tifton, two sisters and brother-in-law Jerry Snow of Tifton and Martha Turner and her husband Bill of Jonesboro, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
