Dorothy Lamore Barron, age 78 of Sycamore died Wednesday June 20, 2018 at Tift Regional Medical Center Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 30, 2018 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness (Whiddon Mill Rd. ) Dorothy was born July 4, 1939 in Cobb County Ga. to the late Newt and Lillian Barge Hunter.

She love to cook and shared that passion as a career for many years. Survivors include her husband, Dennis Barron, one daughter, Bernice Smith, one grandson, Antonio (Shani) Smith, two great grandchildren, Shakear Hyman and Ameena Stothers, three sisters, Agnes Applebey, Evelina Hunter, Lyvonnia Sims and many nieces and nephews In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four grandchildren, six brothers and five sisters.
