She was a member of New Vision Baptist Church and a retired employee of Merit Clothing Company. Ms. Morris is survived by one son, Joe Dan Morris of Mayfield, KY; two daughters, Velvet Dowdy of Henderson, KY and Mitzi (Doug) Walker of Mayfield, KY; one brother, Wendall Janes of Mayfield, KY; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Janes and her parents, James Edward and Judy Aline Martin Janes. Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Janes Morris will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev.

Justin Walker will officiate. Interment will follow at High Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Dowdy, Cort Walker, Kaisan Morris, Brent Walker, Jeran Simmons and Patrick Dunnaway.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to: Arthritis Foundation National Office, 1355 Peachtree St. NE, Suite 600, Atlanta, GA 30309.
