Nancy Jean Lampp January 12, 1952 – February 19, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries Mrs. Nancy Jean Lampp, age 67, of the Lothair Community of Soperton passed away on Tuesday evening, February 19, 2019 at St. Josephs/Candler Hospital in Savannah. Born in Sumter, SC she was one of five children born to Zonnie Johnson Branham and the late Harvey Branham. She grew up in the Columbia, SC area before moving to Baldwin Park, CA where she was a graduate of the Sierra Vista High School, Class of 1970.

She met and married a Treutlen County native Robert Ray Lampp in 1971. Mrs. Lampp had worked as a Machine Operator for Roydon Wear and GFF Manufacturing before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Lampp had attended Red Bluff and Faith Baptist Church as well as Pine Grove Baptist Church in Reidsville, with her daughter.

She loved trips to the coast, visiting Myrtle Beach and Tybee Island. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Larry Harvey Branham and a son, Robert “Scrap” Lampp. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Robert R, Lampp, Soperton, GA, her mother, Zonnie Gibbons, Summerton, SC, her daughter, Linda Lampp, Reidsville, GA, her siblings, John Edward Branham (Kim), MO, Shirley Ann Bartlett (Robert), Manning, SC, Linda Louise Young (Donald), Glasglow, VA , three grandchildren, Alexandra Berglund, John Alton Lampp, Justin Robert Gillis and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Jeffrey Barnard officiating. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 1:00 pm until the hour of the service. Mrs. Lampp will be laid to rest at a later date in Red Bluff Cemetery.
