OBITUARY Nancy Standard Bowden April 20, 1939 – January 9, 2019 Nancy Standard Bowden, 79, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Christ Church. Burial will be private for family in Riverside Cemetery.

Rev. Cynthia C. Knapp will officiate. The family will greet friends following the memorial service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the donor’s favorite charity. Mrs. Bowden was born in Washington, Georgia the daughter of the late Margaret Thurmond Standard and T. Z. Standard and was also preceded in death by an infant son in 1960. She was a homemaker, attended Christ Church, was a member of the Suburban Garden Club, and also enjoyed playing bridge.

Mrs. Bowden was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Bowden is survived by her husband, Earl Bowden of Macon; children, Bobby Cleveland (Elizabeth) of Macon, Dr. Brett Cleveland (Tonya) of Smyrna, SC, and Blair Cleveland (Betsy) of Macon; grandchildren, Joey, Tommy, Bess, Foard, Ellie, and Knox Cleveland; brother, Tommy Standard (Gloria) of FL; step-sons, Bo Bowden (Marion) of SC and Clay Bowden (Rhonda) of Atlanta; nieces and nephew, Nancy Long, Cindy Andrews, Katie Masingill, and Tommy Standard, Jr. Visit www. snowscs.com to express tributes.
