Obituary for Naomi Candelaria Naomi Ann Candelaria, age 42, aka Mama Judi, was called to be with the Lord on May 3, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Valencia County and an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Valencia. Naomi was studying medicine at the UNM-VC.

She was a very kind and loving person, who made friends everywhere she went. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Pedro Candelaria. She is survived by her two children; Rachel Sandoval and her boyfriend James Martinez of Albuquerque, Alex Sandoval and his girlfriend, Samantha McCormack, of Riverside, California; brothers Leroy (Elena), Edward (Velma), Pete, Jr. (Michelle Candelaria); sisters Grace, Becky and Melissa Candelaria, all of Valencia County, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She was especially close to her nephew Manuel Gallegos and her dear friend, Frank Chilelli. Naomi will be greatly missed by everyone. Cremation has taken place.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, with a visitation at 12:00 PM and a service at 1:00 PM, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 12 Thomas Rd. , Los Lunas, NM. Please sign Naomi’s online tribute at www.
