OBITUARY Naomi R. Cummins September 26, 1926 – September 16, 2018 Naomi R. Cummins age 91 of Waynesburg passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 She was born September 26, 1926 in Rices Landing, a daughter of the late Aliff Neel and Mary Pearl Bane Neel. Naomi was a 1945 graduate of Carmichaels High School. On March 27, 1953 she married Jack V. “Foggy” Cummins who passed away on November 30, 2000.

Mrs. Cummins worked as a nurse’s aide at Greene County Memorial Hospital for 19 years. She also did volunteer work at the hospital as a member of the Hospital Auxiliary. Prior to working at the hospital, she worked for several years at the G. C. Murphy Store in Waynesburg.

Naomi was a member of the Oak View United Methodist Church in Waynesburg . Surviving are three daughters, Jackie Shriver of Morgantown, WV, Peggy Muscavitch (Dan) of Rices Landing, and Nancy Cummins of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Jason, Greg, and Gordon Shriver, Heather Friend, and Heath Muscavitch; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was looking forward the birth of her fifteenth great-grandchild in March.

Deceased in addition to her husband are a brother, William Neel; and a sister, Mary Reynolds. At Mrs. Cummins’ request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
