Naomi Rose Apgar Ross, 94, of Rockford, entered eternity Monday June 4, 2018 in Stephenson Nursing Center, Freeport IL. She was born January 10, 1924 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Silas and Angela(Terlep) Apgar. Naomi married Lawrence E. Ross on March 19, 1944.

He passed away on October 8, 2005. She loved Rock Church and genuinely loved serving the Lord. Naomi enjoyed painting ceramics, crafts, crocheting baby blankets and sweaters, fishing and gardening.

She also enjoyed and loved her hummingbirds and wildlife. Naomi worked for LaBobs for most of her retail career at Cherry Vale Mall. Survived by her daughter, Cindy (Rick) Aylward; her grandchildren, Jeff (Jodi) Theien, Marc (Amy) Theien, Brad (Jennifer) Theien and Kari Aylward; her great-grandchildren, Kiley, Kenzie, Karley, Evan, Jonathan, Julia, Ellie and Natalie; many nieces and nephews, especially Kathy, David and Gaylene.

Predeceased by her parents and brothers, Oliver(Jean) Apgar and Walter Apgar. Private family dedication and memorial to be held at a later date. Memorials to the Lewy Body Dementia Association online or to the family.
