Obituary for Neal R. Fitzsimmons Neal R. Fitzsimmons Lubec Neal R. Fitzsimmons , 74, passed away December 10, 2018 at a Bangor Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born February 5, 1944 on Campobello Island, Canada He was the son of the late Herbert and Annie (Parker) Fitzsimmons. He loved the ocean, and enjoyed working on it as a fisherman for many years.

He also enjoyed gardening. His family was extremely important to him . He felt so blessed with his time spent with his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He was a member of Washington Masonic Lodge # 37 A.F. & A.M. in Lubec. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Nancy (Mahar) Fitzsimmons; three daughters Jody Fitzsimmons , Kelly Stoddard, and Melissa Masse; a son Stephen Seavey; a brother Robert Fitzsimmons, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great -grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was was preceased by a brother Sharley Fitzsimmons.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday December 29, 2018 at the West Lubec United Methodist Church, including Masonic services, followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Washington Masonic Lodge, 15 Main Street Lubec,ME 04652. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.
