Neil James Thomson, age 81, passed away on January 17, 2018, in Junction City, Oregon. He was born November 8, 1936, to Harold and Lois (Miller) Thomson in Portland, Oregon. On September 15, 1957, he married Linda Ayres at the Methodist Church in Junction City, OR.

They Celebrated 60 years together. Neil served in the Air Force as a Technical Sergeant and as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Neil is survived by his wife, Linda, sons Clint (Joanne) of Pikeville, North Carolina, and Mark (Carol) of Brogan, Oregon, daughter Christine (David) Stroda of Anchorage, Alaska, sister Molly (Hubert) Murril of Enterprise, Oregon, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Arrangements are in the care of Sunset Hills Funeral Home, Eugene, Oregon.
