Nelie A. Denny, age 92, of Adrian, MI, passed away, June 30, 2018. She was born June 29, 1926, to Frank and Della (Kaufung) Rohr in Detroit, MI. She worked as a secretary as a civilian in Japan for the U.S. Army.

On November 6, 1954, she married the love of her life, Walter A. Denny in Detroit, MI. Following her marriage with Walter, she became a devoted homemaker. Nelie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Adrian, MI.

She is survived by daughters, Diane Denny, Kim Denny and Anita Gibbs, grandsons, Christopher and Jeremy Strehl and two great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Denny, her son, Paul; three brothers and one sister. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, July 7, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Adrian, MI.

Private Burial will take place in Ridgeway Cemetery. www.
