Nellie’s Obituary Nellie Mae Bonesteel, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in Indianapolis on January 21, 1929. Her parents were Robert S. and Della Ellis Wand.

Nellie was married to Walter F. Bonesteel and together they had six children; Theresa (Ric) Wege, Mitchell (Gail) Bonesteel, Donna (Ron) Smith, Diana (Randy) Myers, William (Sue) Bonesteel, and James (Donna) Bonesteel. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James and Robert Wand, a sister, Louise Richards, a grandson, Steve, and a granddaughter, Kelli.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway chapel. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
