Nellie M. Unger, 98, of Frostburg, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at home. Born February 23, 1920 in Eckhart, she is preceded in death by parents, Ervin Snyder and Julia (Dayton) Snyder; husband, Willard B. Unger; and son, Raymond W. Unger. Surviving are daughter, Sandra “Sandy” Lantz and friend Charles Smith, Cumberland, son, Dennis “Denny” Unger and wife Ellen “Sis”, Flintstone, 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Wednesday, November 14th from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. A private funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Bruce McBride and Rev. Seth Wharton.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Western Maryland Hospice and Western Maryland Regional Hospital for their care and support.
