Nicholas Reut, age 101, of Stratford, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the VA Hospital in West Haven. He was the husband of the late Nancy Reut. He was born on June 22, 1917 in Manhattan, NY to the late John and Julia Reut.

Nicholas worked for the U.S. Postal Service on Middle Street in Bridgeport for 37 years and was on the Bridgeport Post Office Federal Credit Union’s Credit Committee and Board of Directors. During his employment he served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945.
