Nick Braden Andros Saginaw, Michigan Beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend passed away on December 9, 2018 at the age of 52 years. Nick was born on June 18, 1966 in Saginaw to John and Kathleen (Fox) Andros. He was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, and could be found assisting at many of their festivals.

Nick also enjoyed traveling, eating out at restaurants, spending time with family and special friends, music and musicians, and his sense of humor was cherished by all who knew him. Nick poured love and joy into all of his actions, he was compassionate and generous and touched the lives of all he met. Surviving besides his parents, John and Kathleen are his sister, Jodi (Doug) Andros Firebaugh, brother Ben (Angie) Andros, special uncles: George Andros, Tom Poponea, Bill (Thespo) Tarachas, Mike Pantel, his aunts, Joyce Geitman and Milli Kiebel-Andros, his cousins: Amy (Harry) Andros Stratton, Paul Pantel, Patrick (Cayce) Poponea, Elena (Peter) Anastasiou, Nicole (Josh) Heppner and many other relatives including his Fox Family and friends along with his Long Lake neighbors and his lifelong friend Bill Carl, who had this to say: “Nick.

I remember the day we first met. It was in band class. It was in the fall.

I was in the 8th grade and you were in the 7th grade. I was playing football for South school. I did not have a ride home, and it was a 45-minute walk home.

You appeared out of nowhere on your bike and gave me a ride home. Our friendship was cemented right then and there. One year later my mom married a wonderful man named Bill Ault.

Bill loved the visits from you because he knew how much you cared about the Carl family. We move into your neighborhood when they got married. From that point you were a staple in our lives.

You were in our lives on a regular basis. You always paid us a visit on Christmas. When I moved away you still stopped to see how well my mom and Dad were doing.

That was the kind of person you were. Kids used to pick on you because you were different. I received a few black eyes defending you, but I won a few too.

You showed me what true friendship really meant. No matter what or where I was you were never far from my thoughts and I was never far from yours. I have been blessed to have you part of my life, and I hope you felt the same way!

I know I am the lucky one to have had you in my life. You made me a better person for accepting you for who you were. Life is hard, but you always made it feel like I could overcome anything.

The issues you overcame were things that most people would have given up on. You fought the fight with dignity and pure willpower. You have always been an inspiration to me and you will continue to be for the rest of my life.

Ending I will say farewell my dear friend. I will miss you, but I will never forget you”. Nick was predeceased by his infant sister, Kristen Michelle Andros, grandparents: Ben and Eleanor Fox, and Nick and Zoi Andros, his aunt, Rena Popnea, and cousin, Nick G. Andros.
