Passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Saturday December 1, 2018. She was 76 years old. Mary Jane Reeves was born on November 15, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Perry and Viola (Daniels) Reeves.

She was a proud graduate of Saginaw High School. Mary was employed as a representative with Avon for over 40 years and loved it. She also worked at Kmart as a Retail Associate and most recently at Meijer as a greeter.

In her younger years, Mary enjoyed bowling and campingn with her family, as well as sewing. She often made clothing for herself and her daughter. In her later years, Mary enjoyed wintering in Arizona with Gary, visiting many special friends.

Mary had a beautiful soul and found happiness in talking with family and friends. Above all, she loved and cherished spending time with her family. Surviving are a son and daughter, Steve Dietzel of Burlington, WI and Christine (Raymond) Kleinbriel of Linwood; a longtime significant other of 28 years, Gary Bossbach of Bay City; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Adam) Mahoney, Karley (Devin) Scheffler, Duane Gietzel and Valerie Blazie; two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Caity; two sisters and one brother, Elaine Merrow of Bridgeport, Daniel (Mary) Reeves and Bertha (Walt) Hall of Saginaw.

Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Rita Dietzel; three sisters and one brother, Wilma Beebe, Eleanor Brown, Loma “Mickey” Kellogg and Perry Reeves, Jr. A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev.

Robert Richards will officiate. Burial will take place at Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
