Clark, 96, of Pittsburg, passed away at 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, Febuary 27, 2019, at Via Christi Village, Pittsburg. She was born May 13, 1922, at Trenton, MO, the daughter of Thomas D. and Eula (Tharp) Ricketts. Nola served in the United States Air force from April 1944 until she was honorably discharged in December 1945.

Nola worked in data processing for Lockeed Martin for 29 years retiring in 1980. In 1986 she moved to Frontenac, KS. She was a member of the Betty Lou Vilmer American Legion Post #394 and the treasurer for many years.

She is survived by two nieces, Mareta Smith of Kansas City, MO, and Marcia Sorrick and her husband, Dave of rural Pittsburg, KS, one sister-in-law, Marvella Ricketts and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Larry Ricketts and two sisters; Kathleen Corrigan, and Willis “Billie” V. Smith. A Graveside Service is set for 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2019, at Fort Scott National Cemetery, with Pastor Don Talent conducting the service.

The family suggests memorials to the Betty Lou Vilmer American Legion Post #394. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS 66762. Friends may leave condolences online at www.
