Norma F. Lake, 92, of Belding, passed away Wednesday evening June 27, 2018 at Metron of Belding. Norma was born on April 26, 1926 in Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Floyd and Mary (Baker) Utt. Norma graduated from Cullison High School with the class of 1944.

Later that year at a dance/skating party she met a young man from Belding named Ralph Lake who was stationed at a nearby Army Base, they fell in love and were married on December 31, 1944. After moving to Belding, Norma worked at Jolly Kids for 20 years and later at Royal Down for 10 years, she enjoyed going for walks, loved spending time with family and friends and especially enjoyed the many trips back to Kansas to visit family. Norma is loved and survived by her son; Scott Lake of Belding, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a son in law; Dave Pickens of Flint, and one sister; Marjorie Davis of Lenexa, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Ralph, daughter; Janice, and one brother; Robert. Funeral services will be 11am Monday, July 2, 2018 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Committal prayers will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.

Visitation will be Sunday evening, July 1, 2018 from 6-8pm at the funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Shiloh Community Church, Disabled American Veterans, Belding American Legion or the Belding Museum. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
