Norma I. Rhinehardt, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Buffalo, NY, on October 27, 1936, the daughter of the late Ralph H. and Minnie [Mollosky] Chapin. Norma moved to Sanborn, NY as a child and graduated from Wilson High School.

She was a sales associate with J. C. Penney for over twenty five years, before retiring in 2017. Norma taught Sunday school at the Sanborn Baptist Church in the 1970’s and was an avid Bills fan. She loved being with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and breaking bread with them.

Norma is survived by three sons David (Barbara), Jason (Lucy) and Daniel (Corina) Rhinehardt, five grandchildren Christina (Milo), Jason, Daniel, Joshua and Christopher, two great grandchildren Dominic and Aleah, two brothers Marshall (Carolyn) and Ralph (Kathleen) Chapin, her former husband James Rhinehardt, also many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Hazel Chapin. Her family will be present on Tuesday from 11-1:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Niagara SPCA.
