OBITUARY Norma Jean Wasko October 1, 1946 – December 31, 2018 Norma Jean Wasko,72, passed away December 31, 2018, beloved wife of James Wasko, for 41 years. Norma was born on October 1, 1946 in Gibsonville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of John and Mary (Ward) Younger.

She was one of ten children, survived by four sisters, Betty Smith, Janie Brewer, Linda Huey and Debra Sloop and two brothers, Charles and Wayne Younger. She is also survived by her three children, Cher Hinojosa (Ruben), Melissa Bellis (Shawn) and Shaun (Megan) Wasko, ten grandchildren, Sergeant Austin, Preston, Addison and Landry Hinojosa, Savannah, Charlotte, Aurora and Eden Bellis, Andrew and Auggie Wasko, and two great-grandchildren, Aidan and Ava May Stoneking. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Roy Younger and sister, Anne Mae Campbell.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday, January 5, 2019 followed by a Celebration of Norma’s Life at 5:00 pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
