Obituary for Norma Jeanne Campbell Mrs. Norma Jeanne (Talkington) Campbell of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on December 23, 2018 at the age of 96. She was born in Topeka, Kansas on October 16, 1922 to the late Roy and Anetha Talkington. Norma Jeanne was married for 60 years to John Woodrow Campbell, a dry land wheat farmer.

They lived in Connell, Washington for over 35 years. They retired and moved to Renton, Washington to be closer to their family. Norma Jeanne was an avid golfer and was a member of the Fairwood Golf and Country Club.

She loved playing bridge and hosting bridge club parties. She enjoyed cooking and took pride in preparing meals for the large harvest crew every summer. She also loved to bake, with pies being her specialty.

Her hobbies included gardening, ceramics, reading, boating, and dancing. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Connell and Renton, Washington. Norma Jeanne was also a volunteer for the Methodist Youth Fellowship, the Girl Scouts of America, and for the Children’s Hospital Guild in Seattle, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and granddaughter, Katrina Ribakoff. Norma Jeanne is survived by her son, Pat Campbell; daughters, Connie Ribakoff and Nancy Crume; grandchildren, Rob Campbell, Carly Hack, Tanya Pitman, Jarod and Dustin Crume; and great-grandchildren Cassady Campbell and Tyler and Grace Hack.
