Norma’s Obituary Norma Robich, long-time resident of 815 Service Avenue, Sharon, passed away on May 17, 2019 at the Brookdale Kenwood Assisted Living facility in Cincinnati, OH. Norma was 92years old. Mrs. Robich was born June 3, 1926 in Sharon, the younger of two daughters born to Rose and Martin Trobentar.

She was a graduate of Sharon High School, Class of 1944 where she concentrated in the home economics area as an honor student. Norma was a long time Sharon homemaker and was active in the Slovenian community. Norma was an avid cook and baker, specializing in ethnic Slovenian and Croation dishes.

She was also active for many years in both the Slovenian Workingmen’s Educational Club (Sharon) and the Croation Fraternal Union Lodge 126 (Farrell). Norma was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed singing, dancing Polkas and listening to classical music. Along with her late husband Ed, she was a member of St. Joseph’s Church (Sharon).

On January 25, 1947, Norma married her one and only true love, Ed Robich, with whom she made her home in Sharon for 60+ years. Ed was a decorated war veteran in WWII. Together, Norma and Ed raised three sons all of whom graduated from Sharon High School.

Norma dedicated her life to the love and care of her family. Norma is survived by her two sons, Dennis Robich (Stephanie), Milford, OH; Tom Robich (Patricia) Wexford, PA; Leslie Robich, widow of James Robich and four grandchildren, Mark Robich (Melissa); Gregory Robich (Lisa); Joshua Robich; and Rachel (Robich) Low (Terry); 3 great grandchildren, Chloe & Channing Robich and Joshua James Low. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ed; her son James “Jim” Robich; and her sister Evelyn Garm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph’s Church, 79 Case Avenue, Sharon, PA 16146 .
