Norman’s Obituary Funeral services for Mr. Norman Arthur Preston will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2019, in the Alexandria Christian Worship Center, with Reverend Jimmie Harris officiating, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Mr. Norman Arthur Preston, 74, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, with his loving family by his side. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran, a retired electrician and in his earlier days, an instructor.

He was a member of the Alexandria Christian Worship Center, The Gideon’s International, Pineville Camp and was a longtime prison minister. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Thelma Preston.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include three sons, Patric Melton Preston, of Milo, IA. , Sean Arthur Preston, of Pineville and Kelly Ray Preston, of Pineville; one daughter, Tammie Jepsen and her husband, Michael, of Cedar Rapids, IA. ; one brother, John Preston, of Carlisle, IA.
