TRAVERSE CITY – Norman E. Schmansky, age 85, of Traverse City, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Munson Hospice House in the loving care of his family. A visitation for Norman will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a scripture service beginning at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at St. Mary Hannah Catholic Church, 2912 West M-113, Kingsley, MI 49649, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Father Gerald Okoli will officiate. A luncheon will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following mass. Norman will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to; American Legion Honor Guard Post 35, 1231 Hastings Street, Traverse City, MI 49686 or Munson Hospice House, 450 Brook Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
