Obituary for Norman Lee “Bubba” Frierson Norman Lee “Bubba” Frierson passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at The Wedgewood House Care Center. He was born October 12, 1932 in Florida City, Florida. He has been a resident of Lakeland since 1960.

Lee Frierson had a long career working at Life and Casualty Insurance company. He also was a manager at the Cleveland Heights golf course. He was a veteran in the United States Army and served as a cook on a hospital train in Europe.

Lee enjoyed fishing with his son and playing golf. He also like to visit estate sales and antique shopping with his wife. Lee loved his family and was preceded in death by his daughter Renee, his brother Mack, and his sister Dorothy.

He is survived by his loving wife Joann, his son Robin, granddaughters Rhea, Hattie, Lauralee and 3 great grandchildren Kyleigh, Landon, and Harper. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, 18, 2018 at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home, 1727 Bartow Rd. , Lakeland.
