Obituary for Glen R Weekly GLEN R. WEEKLY, 95 LILBURN, GA. – Glen R. Weekly, 95, died June 29, 2018. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on April 14, 1923.

He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and received the Purple Heart for actions on August 8, 1945. After the war, he lived in McMechen, WV and worked for the B&O Railroad until he retired in 1985. After retirement he moved to Lakeland, FL.

He attended Carpenter’s Home Church and was a charter member of Victory Church, where he was an usher for many years. Mr. Weekly is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Kathryn; children, Linda Santos, Glenna Weekly, and Russell Weekly. He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Carl) Holbrook, Karen Wilson, and son-in-law Jose Santos; grandchildren, Jobim, Lydia, Evan, and AnaMarie, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 8 from 3:00-5:00 pm at Gentry Morrison Funeral Home at Serenity Gardens, 3350 Mall Hill Dr. Funeral service will be Monday, 10:00 am at Victory Church in the Chapel, 1401 Griffin Rd.
