Obituary for Norman Apple Norman Apple, 84, went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2018 in Colorado Springs. He was born January 10, 1934 in Crowley County to Roscoe and Edith (Jenkins) Apple. He helped his father on their farm until graduating from Ordway High School in 1951.

He met the love of his life Peggy Griswold at a basketball game and soon after he graduated, they were married. The couple made their home first in Pueblo where he was employed at C.F. & I for 31 years. They moved to Florence in 1962.

Upon retiring he worked at Taco Bell and as a greeter at Walmart. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gilbert. He is survived by his wife Peggy; a son Mike (Geri) Apple; daughter Debbie Noble; all of Canon City and a daughter Connie Thomas of Colorado Springs; grandchildren Ashley Harris, Angie, Steven and Richard Noble of Canon City; Mike Key of Longmont and Michelle (James) Sullivan of Colorado Springs; greatgrandchildren Adriana and Alex Sullivan, Elizabeth, Samantha and Stephanie Key; a sister Wilma Seuser of Austin, Texas and seven nieces and nephews.
