Philip R. DeGenova, 77, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on February 23, 2019. Philip was born on October 24, 1941 to the late Joseph and Margaret (Kennard) DeGenova. Philip served his country in the U.S. Army and received his Masters Degree in Fine Arts from University of California, San Diego.

Philip worked for the U.S. Post office for over 15 years. He also taught at Moore College of Art in the 80’s and was the owner of Cafe Santa Maria that was located at 5th and Gaskill in South Philadelphia. He enjoyed being an artist and a musician.

He is survived by his two children: Gia DeGenova (George Fencl) and Raul DeGenova; 5 grandchildren: Joseph, Rosalie, Elizabeth, Caila, Cassidy; 10 brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by 4 siblings. A Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
