Oliver Leonard “Tony” Drury, 85, passed away on Thursday December 27, 2018 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born April 17, 1933 in Marion County. Tony served in the United States Air Force, and was an active member of St. Joseph Basilica Catholic Church for 60 years where he sang in the basilica choir and the resurrection choir.

He loved to fish, play golf, and was an avid UK fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Andrew Drury and Myrtle Agnes Drury; and three sisters, Louise Hoagland, Mabel Crompton, and Margaret Wise. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Catherine Faye Wolf Drury; three sons, Chris (Mary) Drury of Bardstown, Dr. Tim (Cathy) Drury of Melbourne, Tony (Kim) Drury of Willisburg; three daughters, Vicki (Tim) Hahn of Cox’s Creek, Kathy (Bob) Bailes of Winterpark, FL, Barby (Boyd) Sweeny of Lawrenceburg; 21 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren of whom he was very proud of and bragged on them constantly.

His funeral service will be 10: 00 am Saturday, December 29 at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Terry Bradshaw will officiate.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm Friday December 28 and 8 – 9:15 am Saturday December 29 at Barlow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may go to Bread of Life Food Bank of Bardstown and/or St. Vincent de Paul.
