Olivia M.’s Obituary Olivia Mendez Smith passed away on December 13, 2018 at the age of 63. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by those whom loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Smith; parents, Armando Mendez and Olivia Alaniz Mendez. Olivia is survived by her daughter, Juliana (Ryan) Holland; son, Christopher Lucero; sisters, Mary (Eginio) Alvarez, and Rosalinda Tamez; brothers, Lance LaRue, Armando (Carol) Mendez, Miguel (Bonnie) Mendez, and Jaime “James” (Martha) Mendez. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.

A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. Written condolences for the family of Mrs. Olivia Mendez Smith may be left at www.
